Making an Appointment

Our standard appointments are between 30 and 40 minutes. If you require longer with the dentist, please inform our front office coordinator so we can make the arrangements in the dentist’s schedule. Our front office coordinators are fully trained and may ask you about the dental issue that you are experiencing in detail. This will ensure that your dentist has an idea of what treatment you may need at the appointment.

For your convenience, we offer appointments before 9.00 am and after 5.00 pm. These appointments are the first appointments to be booked. The surgery is open evenings until 7.00 pm every Tuesday and every second Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Parking and Transport

Our surgery is located on the ground level of the Westside Private Hospital in Morrow Street. We are located next to the Taringa train station. In peak hours, trains run every 10 minutes.  The entrance to our clinic is from outside the building next to Sushi Sensei.  If you come up in the lift, exit the main front doors and turn right and you will see our entrance.

There is a bus stop straight outside the centre and a taxi phone in the foyer of the building. If you are in need of a taxi, we would be happy to assist in calling one for you. If you are a veteran and are eligible, we can organise a DVA car to transport you to and from your appointments. Just be sure to ask when you make your appointment.

There is undercover parking that has a lift that takes you straight to the main foyer on the ground floor.

For our disabled patients, there are car parks allocated just for you. The lift is the easiest way to get to us on level one. We have an accessible toilet on this level, and our surgeries are more than big enough to accommodate for any of your equipment. If you need any assistance when you arrive, please call our surgery reception and one of our kind staff will come and help you.

Waiting Times

We do value your time and are successful with running on time most of the time. However, sometimes emergencies arise that are out of our control. We will either call you to inform you of the small delay or let you know when you arrive. We do our best to keep you informed at all times. In the event of a delay, you are more than welcome to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.

We would like to ask that you come to your scheduled appointments on time. If you are a new patient, please plan to arrive 10 minutes earlier so that you can fill in a health history form. It is at the discretion of the dentist or hygienist if you are late as to whether you will still be seen.
